→ What is a "Platinum Level Student"? A Platinum level Student is a Competition Student, Student Mentor, or Current Student who typically has taken lessons from the studio for a number of years. This is not a DANCE LEVEL. This is a level of studio status for a student/person who is a part of the Studio. The specific requirements of a Platinum Student are as follows; must have taken a minimum of 100 Private Lessons with the Studio and/or competed in at least [1] NDCA recognized Dance Competition with the Studio.
There is no such dance level as a platinum dancer, and although it may seem confusing, it was honestly the only word we could come up with to highly signifty the wonderful group of people who have been with the Studio for several years and danced, competed, performed, helped, supported and just been a part of things in great ways for so long. It was the name that to us meant a high honor. A Platinum student receives special lesson and package pricing, a free weekly class, studio practices times, and special performance options. This was set up as a bonus for them, not the Studio, it's just a way of saying THANK YOU to each of them.
